    Very sturdy and well finished. Adjusting knobs are turning smoothly. The tool comes with 5 sets of different shapes with 3 pins each. The pins are screwed into the holders and therefore very stable. The max. opening between the 2 horizontal pins is 33 mm (1 and 1/4 in.) and the max. distance between a pin from the horizontal part and the one from the vertical part of the tool is 36 mm (1 and 7/16 in.) which makes it suitable for large diameter cases. The tool comes in a cardboard box, not very attractive, but who cares about the box?

    No matter how much I tried, this thing could not be tight enough and get a good enough grip to open up any of my watches. The flat head pins are the worst of the bunch, their edges won’t even face each other, because they won’t line up when you screw them on the opening tool/wrench. I was smart enough to try it out first on a cheap watch, it left scratch marks all over the back plate, because it kept sliding/coming off. What a horrible product the more I tried, the more I realized how much this tool remindes me of those extremely cheap knock off products you find in shops around chinatown in San Francisco. Don’t waste your money or time. Now I have to go to UPS to drop this junk off and wait a week or so to get a refund. What a waste of time. I can’t believe Amazon would sell this, but then again, they’re not actually selling it, they’re just fullfilling the order. Happy with Amazon’s Prime as always though, fast shipping, superb service.

    It worked on my Seiko watch, which is always hard to open. I had to by a clamp to hold the watch, however.
